What a splash of colour! It must flower later than the M. japonica I have. I’m not sure if it has the scent of it?
It is later than M japonica and as far as I know there is no scent to it – if there is it’s very subtle.
And I bet it smells as good as it looks!
We’ve planted one of these for the berries this year. Ours isn’t quite so impressive yet.
