   Acanthus is a plant I think is amazing – so structural. Afraid I’ve not been too successful in growing it!

   It looks good but have you ever tried getting rid of it? It should be called Devil’ s Breeches.

   Last summer was the first time I’d ever seen this plant, and it does grow where I live. Loves a damp, cool spot and can get quite large if left to its own devices.

     I was never much of a fan of this one but it has definitely grown on me.
